Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy is a light-touch therapy using rhythmic movements on the skin.

This therapy is recommended for relaxation, detoxification, pain relief, reducing edema and boosting immunity.

  • Increases lymphatic and blood circulation.
  • Relief of pain and inflammation, edema, and tension.
  • Reduces recovery time after an injury and/or post-surgery.
Increases metabolism and aids in weight loss.
  • Improves skin elasticity, fine lines, and wrinkles.

This therapy may not be right for you if you have any of the following:

  • Major heart problem
  • Acute kidney problems
  • Active blood clots, infections, bleeding, and undiagnosed lumps
  • Active Cancer patients should speak with their Physician to rule out any possible contraindications.

  • Thrombosis
  • Thyroid Disfunction (untreated)

If you are a post-op cosmetic surgery patient:

  • I don’t do compression bandaging or work on severe stages of lymphedema patients.
  • I don’t perform incisional drainage.
  • Any drains placed after surgery should be removed or contained and incisions should be closed or covered.
  • You are responsible for bringing any bandages or alcohol wipes that you may need.
  • YOU ARE STRICTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR SEEKING MEDICAL ADVICE FROM A PHYSICIAN PRIOR TO PARTICIPATING IN ANY THERAPY PROGRAM.
